The Centre for Maritime Training Institute was formed with the objective of imparting marine-related training to seafarers, thereby achieving an overall improvement in the quality of seafarers.
The institute is headed by Mr. Noor Adnan Beg as Director. He brings onboard the administrative and managerial expertise required for the Centre for Maritime Training Institute.
Our core strength is our team of faculty members, which consists of Master Mariners and Chief Engineers who have been sailing until the recent past and are updated with the latest trends, knowledge, and competence required in the industry. The fully air-conditioned classrooms with modern simulators and audiovisual equipment provide a conducive learning environment.
All seafarers holding a Certificate of Competency for serving as in-charge of a navigational watch or engineering watch on board.
Marine Engineer Officer Class II Candidates, Regulation/Category STCW 2010 Regulation III/2. 2nd Engineer on 3000 kW or more motor (M). Column A (Qualifying Sea Service): A total minimum approved sea service of 12 months after obtaining Class IV Part B (III/1).
